Tyromotion rehab technology- Pablo and Tymo
We are proud to be the first clinic in Devon to bring the cutting edge technology of Tyromotion to the Community.

The Pablo and Tymo technologies offer intensive, fun training options for you whether you are recovering from a stroke, managing conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease or just need help improving your balance or walking. Evidence shows that the arm needs on average about 300 repetitions to learn a movement and the leg over 1000! Getting the required number of repetitions can be challenging and makes staying motivated difficult; using Tyromotion makes it fun and the visual feedback has been shown by studies to speed up neuroplasticity and relearning.
PABLO
PABLO uses clever sensor-based technology to allow your therapist to take any movement you need to practise, with any part of the body, and adjust it to your ability.
This allows you to get the intensive practise needed for strength and functional improvements. The technology is so sensitive it can pick up in the smallest of movements.
It also allow us to get a detailed assessment of your walking pattern and joint movements so your programme can be tailored to your exact needs.
TYMO
TYMO is a highly sensitive balance board that can be used to improve your balance and ability to stand on your affected leg or take weight through your affected arm. It detects where you are balancing and uses the information for you to retrain your balance and weight bearing using various games. It can also take a variety of balance assessments, so you can see how you are improving over time. Balance/weight bearing can be assessed and trained in sitting or standing, using upper or lower limbs and progressed to unstable surfaces.

Pablo and Tymo can be incorporated into your personal exercise programme or used as part of an intensive exercise package. Contact us for more information
